Bonita
Here's some pictures from our trip to Florida. It was so relaxing - we had a wonderful time!

Here are the turtles that reside in Bonita - when we were down last September they had just hatched their eggs, but we didn't get to see them.

24 weeks!
Sorry it's been awhile since the last post. I was in Albuquerque for work last week (and sadly it was far colder there than in Kentucky - even had to have our plane de-iced before leaving on Thursday!). So I didn't get a 23 week picture, but take my word for it - Baby Clark is still growing. I think it's pretty obvious now to strangers that I am pregnant. Although Chris and I went to Target this past weekend and he got tickled by people giving me the "is she just chubby or is she pregnant?" look. I was wearing a jacket - so I think this is what helped conceal the bump a bit.
Between my trip out west, hair appointments, doctor appointments, dentist appointments, birthday celebrations, UK basketball and a quick visit from Mom and Dad Clark - it's been a busy week or two! It didn't help that we lost an hour in the process either. And today we are heading to Bonita Beach for a long weekend! Looking forward to warm weather, sunshine, sand and relaxing with Mom and Dad C.
Yesterday we had our 24 week check up and ultrasound. My Mom joined us - she just had to see the ultrasound for herself. It was so cool to see how much he had grown over the past four weeks. He was in a great position for the ultrasonographer to get the pictures of his sweet little heart that she needed. She was also kind enough to give us good looks at his arms and legs and even a 3d image of his face! She said that everything looked perfect. His heartrate was 140 bpm - same as last time and he weighed 1lb 5 oz.

I think this is the cutest little foot I've ever seen:
And a couple of 3D images of his face - you can see he's got his left arm up kind of covering his eye and his nose looks weird because it was up against the placenta:

22 week update
We had a great weekend! I passed my CLEP exam on Friday - one down and one to go. Woohoo!
My friend Heather came into town Friday night - visiting us from Nashville for the weekend. We had a wonderful time together. I am so thankful that we finally live within driving distance from eachother! We spent Saturday shopping in Lexington and were thrilled that our friend Jackie (who is expecting in May) was able to join us. I have had such a difficult time finding maternity clothes, but Heather and Jackie must have been my good luck charms because I found quite a few things - most importantly a bathing suit since we're going to Florida in two weeks. I look forward to the next time we can get together!
Chris and I are still working on our list of names for Baby Clark. He currently goes by Sheffield or Sheff - which are only nicknames - I know my Mom fears that we will actually name him that. We are also trying to get ideas for the nursery and are finding that it is similar to coming up with a name...really easy to decide what you don't like...not so easy coming up with what you do like. Hopefully we'll get these things figured out soon enough.
